August this year will be an amazing challenge and achievement for all of us.
I work for Age UK Lancashire and provide home help support to service users across Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham. I love it……… not just making a difference helping with house work needed, but more importantly being a listening ear and having lovely chats which make a difference to their day.
We're Age UK Lancashire and our goal is to enable older people across the region to love later life.
I am going to cycle alongside Shaun, Gav, Collette and Niamh (my youngest aged 12) and raise much needed funds for the services Age UK Lancashire provide across the region.
Myself and Shaun had a lovely meeting with Katherine, Dave and Natasha form Age UK Lancashire to explain my intentions and the challenge. They were more than happy for me to support them under the umbrella of the 20/20.
This is what its about, not only changing lives but continuing to change lives from the younger generation to our elderly members of society.
I have now set up a Just Giving page and will share this and get as much support as possible to help.
